i know it only just started up and stuff, but im surprised how... empty it feels.

I expect they haven't done any advertising for it yet, but still, I doubt it'll ever reach anywhere near the level of active users that the HDM one has.
You'll have your family back...You won't need your imaginary friend anymore.
