Among the first Sherlock Holmes novels (A Study in Red and The Sign of Four) this is surely the most complete: it has London and an open air setting, a bit of Baker Street and the moor, Holmes's geniality and Watson's attempts to follow the master, deduction and action, murder and mystery...Conan Doyle's literary skills appear here at their top, with vivid descriptions and realistic dialogues alternated with letters and diary. Ok, I really loved it, but I would be glad to know your impressions!

"Let's eat Grandma" or "Let's eat, Grandma". Punctuation saves lives!
